On November 19, 2017, Annual Progress meeting of the National key research and development Program "basic Research on the Establishment and Application of Chinese population assisted Reproductive population and progeny cohort" was held in Suzhou Convention Center.

The opening ceremony of the meeting was presided over by Professor Zhibin Hu, Vice President of Nanjing Medical University. Professor Hongbing Shen, who was in charge of the project, delivered a welcoming speech.
