Vice President Zhibin Hu then made a report on the project "Research on the Identification and Interaction of Infertility Population Environment and Genetic Pathogenic Factors". Project 1 team leader Professor Fangbiao Tao reported in detail the progress of the project and summarized the problems and solutions in the process of on-site recruitment and follow-up.
Professor Chenghong Yin reported in detail the overall progress of "Establishing a Birth Population Cohort to Carry out Research on the Risk of Major Birth Defects", starting with two data centers in Beijing and West China to report on the construction of the queue. Project 3 team leader Professor Jilong Yao and project 2 team leader Professor Yanping Wang respectively reported on the cohort construction work of Shenzhen Maternity and Child Health Hospital and the experience in the construction of biological samples of the birth cohort and database.
Professor Xuejun Shang reported on the main difficulties in the implementation of the cohort construction project of "Study on the Impact of Environmental and Behavioral Factors on Embryo Development and Pregnancy Based on Internal and External Exposure Monitoring". Professor Qi Wang , the leader of Project 1, gave a detailed report on the difficult issues.
The expert group listened carefully and affirmed the achievements that have been made, and put forward constructive opinions and suggestions, and pointed out the details that need special attention during the project. Among them, optimization measures are proposed for several key issues of data sharing, quality control, and fund utilization.
