On the morning of September 24, 2021, Li Jiayuan, director of discipline Construction Department of West China School of Public Health, Sichuan University, and a delegation of 7 people came to our hospital for an exchange visit on the construction of birth cohort information platform.  Jin Guangfu, vice president of the College and key teachers of birth Cohort Research Center attended the reception.  

At the meeting, Vice President Jin Guangfu extended a warm welcome to Minister Li jiayuan and his delegation, and introduced the development history and current situation of the college.  Then Associate Professor Du Jiangbo introduced the basic situation of the national birth cohort information platform of our university in detail from the aspects of design, development and use experience of the platform.  Subsequently, the two sides had in-depth exchanges and discussions on birth cohort inclusion, follow-up, information platform construction and application, data management, data security, open sharing and other aspects.  

During the visit, Minister Li and his delegation also visited the National Birth Cohort Sample Database, birth cohort information system and laboratory.
