Dr. Yuan Lin obtained her MD degree and PhD degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Nanjing Medical University. After graduation, she received 1.5 years’ post-doctoral training in genetic epidemiology in the Department of Epidemiology at the Indiana University Fairbanks School of Public Health. From 2016-2017, she participated in the Visiting Program at the Epidemiology Branch of the Division of Intramural Population Health Research at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health & Human Development, National Institutes of Health (NICHD/NIH). From 2018-2020, she worked as a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Epidemiology in the same department for 2 years. In 2020, Dr. Lin joined Nanjing Medical University as a Professor in the Department of Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health and a Principal Investigator in the State Key Laboratory of Reproductive Medicine. Her research interests are investigating the interface of disease etiology and prevention strategies in the arena of reproductive and perinatal health using large population-based cohorts. Her research is founded by the National Key Research and Development Program of China, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Fund for Distinguished Professor of Jiangsu Province, China. Dr. Lin has published multiple peer-reviewed articles in the journals such as Nature Genetics, Nature Communications, American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, The Lancet Regional Health - Western Pacific, and Science of the Total Environment.
