In order to standardize the professional level of the full-time staff of the birth cohort, strengthen the practical ability of clinical follow-up work, and better carry out cohort construction and research work, "Birth Cohort Field Key Technology Training Conference" was held by Birth Cohort Research Center at the 201 Conference Room, Building 2, Nanjing Maternal and Child Health Hospital on May 28th. More than 20 people attended the meeting,including teachers, graduate students from the Birth Cohort Research Center and full-time staff from Nanjing Maternity and Child Health Hospital, Suzhou Municipal Hospital, and Jiangsu Provincial People's Hospital attended the meeting.

In the training session, Yangqian Jiang, Kun Zhou, Xiaoyu Liu ,Hong  Lv and Xiumei Han from the Birth Cohort Research Center introduced the pregnancy and offspring questionnaire survey, sample collection, processing and storage, maintenance of the member management system, inclusion and invitation to the participants. Follow-up, precautions for offspring follow-up.After each chapter of training, an in-class test will be conducted. After all the tests, several teachers explained the questions and answered questions intensively.

Through this training, the operating skills of the staff were standardized and the work experience was exchanged with each other. In a lively and rigorous atmosphere, this training event came to a successful conclusion.
